MRI Shows Torn Knee Cartilage For Andruw Jones

The LA Times is reporting that Dodgers centerfielder Andruw Jones has torn cartilage in his right knee and may need surgery. It's hard to say how much this injury has to do with his struggles at the plate, but it could definitely lead to some bad swings if his back leg is either constantly hurting or if it's unstable.

However, as we pointed out on Dodgers Live last week, this slump Jones is suffering through dates all the way back to the end of the 2006 season. I don't think his knee has been hurting that long.
