NASCAR Day is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year! Annually held on the Friday prior to the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Challenge in May, NASCAR Day has become one of the most important and fastest-growing traditions in the NASCAR Family. Since the first celebration in 2004, NASCAR Day has raised almost $5 Million for the charitable initiatives so close to the hearts of the NASCAR Family.

NASCAR Day Festivities
Tenants and Residents will be joined by Local NASCAR Drivers, as well as the Beverly Hills High School Varsity Cheer and Drum Corp and 95.5 FM KLOS Street Team. The celebration will also include Official Sprint Cup Show Cars, the Auto Club Speedway Pace Car, Super truck and Super Late Model show cars, courtesy of the Richard Petty Driving Experience, Auto Club Speedway, and Irwindale Speedway. Attendees who make a minimum donation of $5 will be immediately entered to win an Auto Club Speedway Labor Day weekend VIP Prize package. They will also have an opportunity to compete for one of five RPDE Rookie/Ride-a-long Experiences, as they vie for one of the top five times in the RPDE Pit Crew Tire Challenge. What is NASCAR Day?

NASCAR Day is a one-day celebration of the NASCAR spirit and its fans. In exchange for a $5 donation, participants will receive a commemorative NASCAR Day lapel pin.

Who NASCAR Day Supports

Established in 2006, The NASCAR Foundation was created to bring together a number of charitable organizations and initiatives within the NASCAR Family. While these organizations all serve a number of different initiatives –children’s causes, animal welfare and rescue, nature conservancy and more – they are all united by the common thread of NASCAR.

NASCAR Foundation

The Foundation supports a wide range of charitable initiatives that reflect the core values of the entire NASCAR Family. The NASCAR Foundation will use the strength of the sport and its people to make a difference in the lives of people who need it most.
