Having witnessed so many disappointing losses during my time as a student at UK as well as a sportscaster covering the team for WKYT, I can't tell you how much I am hoping that Kentucky beats Louisville this weekend. Such a streak would not only be huge for bragging rights within the state, it would equate to some much-deserved payback for long-time suffering UK fans.

Or doing what has never been done at Kentucky.
Saturday is all about another chance to do just that.
Since the Governor's Cup series was launched in 1994, Kentucky has never beaten its cross-state rival Louisville three times in a row.
"That would be huge," Jorge Gonzalez, UK's senior center, said Wednesday.
